How to change the world

The history of the world is one of revolutions. Time after time, groups of people, dissatisfied with their condition, went to war, or overthrew their rulers. When they couldn’t do either of those things, they went about causing trouble to the extent they could, just to express their anger. When all else failed, some gave up, while others turned into what we today call “criminals”—people who are unhappy with the system and have decided they’re simply not going to play by the rules.

But on the other hand, there have always been people who’ve wanted to change the world for the better. Call them “idealists”, “believers”, whatever, the fact is there have always been people who want to do something that helps humanity, solve problems and make something of this beautiful planet.

However, they’ve gone about it in all the wrong ways. Everyone who’s read the history of the United States knows something about the hippie movement, for example. They know about the protests and riots that happened around the Vietnam war. There was Martin Luther King, Jr., who tried to lead a peaceful civil rights movement. There were the stonewall riots that are widely credited with creating a resurgence in the LGBTQ movement. More recently, we’ve had things like Occupy Wall Street and the No Kings protests.

But nothing has changed. Sure, there is a lot more visibility in the public sphere about issues like racism and homophobia, but fundamentally, people’s prejudices haven’t moved much. People are still very much interested in survival above all else, so their points of view are shaped more by what works for survival and what does not. Provide the right kind of environment with supportive people, and people will say one thing. Put them in a place where they might be threatened or challenged, and most people will fold and believe whatever is most convenient. This has been most obvious in the views of corporations, who have swung one way, then another way and whatever way is most profitable. Politicians are the same way of course—they simply like to align themselves with whatever keeps them in power. Sure, they may justify this as simply representing the will of the people, but the people’s will is always all over the place, so politicians simply get to pick and choose whose will they are going to represent.

The Environmental Disaster

Now while things such as civil rights and LGBTQ movements are more political in nature, in that they are about identities, not actualities (after all, we are all just human, not black, white, gay or whatever), the one thing that is common to all is our planet and the way we’re using it. Few people realize that the planet is actually alive, not in a theoretical sense, but in a very real sense, that it thinks, processes, reacts and responds. Our planet isn’t just a bunch of rock with a core that generates a magnetic field, etc. The scientific point of view isn’t wrong, but is extremely limited. This is because our planet shares the same characteristics as the universe and indeed all of creation does. The biggest one? Intelligence.

However, instead of seeing the planet as a part of life, and seeing our bodies as an extension of the planet, we have separated ourselves from it. Human beings no longer believe that they are an integral part of the universe—they see themselves as independent, rational entities that are somehow following a different process than the rest of life. Ask yourself, for instance, when was the last time you paid attention to the cycles of the moon? Did you even care, that it was full moon, for example and try to see if you should do something differently that night?

So this disconnection from the life process is the cause behind the way we treat the planet. Water is no longer life itself, but a resource, to be managed, not worshipped and revered. I am not asking you to worship water, but you must see it as a living thing, not some dead resource that cannot respond to life. You may think that our current situation with global warming is just a consequence of some physical/chemical/mechanical process, but the fact is that the planet is intelligently responding to our nonsense. Despite our efforts at exploiting it, it has been relatively stable for many years. This will change soon, but that’s for a different blog post.

Meanwhile, people have been trying to change things for a long time, but the fundamentals are still where they have always been. Our civilization is still very much built on destroying the planet in order to create products, most of which are designed for our comfort, pleasure or entertainment. We continue to fail at finding truly sustainable technologies—even things like solar and wind rely on enormous amounts of material taken from the Earth. We may have succeeded in recovering a few endangered species, but the fact remains that huge numbers of species are going extinct all the time. So, despite all the knowledge we’ve gained, why haven’t we succeeded by leaps and bounds?

The futility of resistance

Most efforts that seek to change the world rely on one simple strategy: resistance. Whether you call it politics, where you try to change things via legislation, or protest, where you go out on the streets and try to have your voice heard, or you call it terrorism, where you actively try to disrupt something you don’t believe in, the fundamental strategy is the same: go to war and hope that you will win.

It is a primitive strategy, animalistic to the core, however sophisticated the words used maybe. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t move the needle, at least not to the extent you would expect given how many people come together to change things. So why doesn’t it work?

It doesn’t work because people have no power. I don’t mean that ordinary people don’t have any power, nor am I referring to the kind of power celebrities, wealthy people or politicians are often credited for. I am talking about spiritual power, and almost no one on Earth has it.

See, the way the world is created isn’t by physical action, but by manifestation. We don’t change the world with our silly little actions, but by changing the energy that is behind those actions. As human beings, we create the world in which we live, first in energy and then that energy is manifested in the physical world that we experience. All action actually takes place within us, at the level of energies. We manipulate energy into form and then that form takes shape in the physical world we see. Since the first part of that process is not visible, we assume that it does not happen. In other words, most of us believe that we change the world by physically manipulating it. However, take a good look at our digital world and you’ll see that most of it has been created not by manipulating the physical, but the energetic side of things. We move bits around, and an entire reality comes to life. It should be enough proof that we are capable of manipulating energy directly.

The point is this: whatever is built with energy will only become more when energy is added to it. Our current systems, which include both the physical ones (e.g. a bus service) as well as the conceptual ones (e.g. Wall Street) are both built on energy and if you add energy to them, they will only become more persistent. You can even destroy the physical aspect of a system, but its energy will remain and it will simply reappear in a different form. There is nothing you can do to truly destroy it.

And this is what’s happening with war, protests and all kinds of resistive strategies: they are simply adding energy to an already horrible system. If you resist oppression, the system of oppression only gets stronger. If you protest, whatever you are protesting gets even more difficult to eliminate. When you go to war, you only make the enemy stronger, and at some point, they will retaliate in some form. There is simply no way to destroy something once you’ve created it.

Stop sustaining the world

You must understand this clearly: you are the reason these systems still exist. The powers that be, specifically love, are always engaged in dissolving all that is unnecessary. However human beings continue to sustain that which they don’t enjoy. Everyday, when you go to work, you sustain a range of things: the housing industry, the transportation industry, public works, taxation, commerce, exploitation, etc. All your actions have a negative impact on the planet because you give your energy to these things on a moment-to-moment basis. It is this realization that has caused our whole economy to shift from production to attention. Just look at social media and you’ll see—the whole point of every video is to get you to pay attention, meaning that you give away your energy in order to sustain whatever is being promoted.

You cannot change this by resisting, as resistance will only strengthen the system. But you can change it by simply not participating. This is why, on the spiritual path, once you get going in earnest, you will naturally drop every single thing you don’t need. Entertainment will disappear, your vehicle will disappear, unnecessary travel will disappear, excessive food will disappear. Indeed, you will end up being very very simple, with simple needs, fulfilled in very simple ways. You will eat simple food, not watch TV and spend a lot of time sitting quietly in a state of bliss or happiness or ecstasy. This is why you see yogis simply “hanging out”—they don’t need anything, nor are they out to create anything. Most importantly, they don’t accept the world’s problems, because all of the world’s “problems” are manufactured, not real.

For instance, we don’t need sustainable energy solutions, we just need to stop creating and consuming so much garbage. We don’t need AI—we just have to give up our addiction to entertainment, and words in general. We don’t need recycling—we just have to stop buying products that need packaging in the first place. We don’t need electric vehicles, we can do without traveling or transporting so much stuff. In other words, most of the world we have created is simply unnecessary, mostly driven by the need of a few individuals to accumulate wealth for themselves. We don’t have to change their minds. All we have to do is stop participating in the system, and it will crumble very quickly.

So, is civilization unnecessary?

It isn’t a question of necessity, but one of opportunity. We can all still live in the woods if we wanted to (once they healed, i.e.), drink from streams, wash ourselves outside, live in meadows or in trees and just eat whatever naturally grows, such as fruit. It wouldn’t kill us. But we wanted to create a civilization because we wanted to make the world a more beautiful place. More beautiful than nature? No, but we definitely wanted to create beauty. Instead, we got caught up in creating a more comfortable place and lost our way. We decided not to accept fundamental truths, like death, and decided to fight them. And along the way we completely lost sight of the goal.

What we have to do is change priorities. Instead of longevity, we must aim for quality of life. Instead of education, we must prioritize understanding. Instead of resistance and domination, we must prioritize harmony. Instead of memory and knowledge, we must work with intelligence. Most importantly, we must focus on truth, beauty and love—what they actually are as opposed to the twisted meaning they have been given today.

You may not realize this, but all the qualities we need to focus on, are feminine in nature.

Only the feminine can make the world a better place

Do not confuse the feminine, with women. The feminine is simply an aspect of the universe, the opposite of the masculine. These are concepts of course, but we can recognize them everywhere. The feminine is intelligence, dynamicity, playfulness, happiness, courage, excitement, beauty, etc. Almost all of creation is essentially feminine in nature. However, our world has become an over-masculine world and this is not the fault of men. It is the fault of all of us, if at all, but I prefer not to use that word.

Humanity has been like a child: ignorant, petulant, short-tempered, impatient, unwise. While we yogis have consistently attempted to raise humanity’s consciousness, few have managed to actually grow up and behave like adults. Partly, this has been due to the simple fact that the energy in our universe simply hasn’t been high enough to sustain spiritual practice. Various methods have been invented to help keep people’s energies up, because the level of energy in a human being directly corresponds to how intelligent they are. No, I am not talking about physical energy, but spiritual energy. The higher a person’s spiritual energy, the better they can see life and the more intelligently they behave.

But this has changed now, which is why I am here. Now, we don’t need you to meditate to raise your energy. We don’t need you to perform breath exercises to raise your kundalini, as they used to say. We don’t need you to join a monastery, give up sex and force all your energy to rise up. There’s enough energy to sustain internal spiritual practice automatically. So we can raise the energy of everyone on this planet with little effort. This is why more and more people are questioning the reality they find themselves in—people are experiencing surges of energy and seeing life differently. They are questioning everything from 8 hour workdays to taxes to even having a job. More and more people are finding that they are better off alone than in stupid partnerships. Even procreation has become a choice, not something everyone has to participate in. We are at the cusp of a major shift in our civilization and to make the most of it, it is important that we prepare ourselves for a world where we function more as a collective than as individuals.

We don’t change the world. We replace it.

Changing the world requires manipulating what has already been created, trying to piece it apart, attempting to destroy somethings and putting the rest together differently. This is too much work and as you know, putting energy into an existing system will only make it stronger. This is not how human creativity functions. We cannot really destroy, but we can create. And our job is to create a better world, one that will replace the world that exists today. And if you want to create, you must have creative power, which is something only the feminine can carry. Each of us has the potential to embody the feminine to some extent. The extent to which you can embody the feminine decides how much power you are able to channel, and it is this spiritual power that has the ability to transform.

What you must do, is awaken the feminine within and allow Her to empower you. Once you do that, She will use all your skills, talents and abilities to create a beautiful life and a better world just for you. You do not have to go out and change everyone’s world. Just replace the world you are living in with a beautiful one. When all of you do that, each of your little worlds is combined to make the world we all share. This is how the world becomes a better place.

Understand this clearly: there is no physical way to make the world a better place. No matter how much you try, all you will change is the scenery, the superficial. Gas cars are replaced with electric ones, mud homes with brick or wood, but at the end of the day the world remains the same—the same poverty, homelessness, depression, sadness, violence and so on. Most of the suffering humanity is experiencing at this point is within, not outside, so don’t think that just because crime has fallen, that the world has become a happier place. The suffering in humans has moved inside. Therefore, the work you must do, will also be inside yourself.

Come to me, take the first step and if you are energetic enough, you will finish your journey with enough time left to create a beautiful life for yourself and a better world for all. I wish to give this all away for free, so you can help by finding a way to sustain my work so that I can focus all my time, energy and happiness on helping you move forward. We can do enough in one lifetime to see significant and permanent changes to the world we live in and definitely turn Tucson into heaven on Earth.
